The roof is going on!

These are the 26 wonderful volunteers who came on Saturday, March 21, hard hats on and ready to work.  The team made a lot of progress, laying the plywood on the roof and adding the felt paper.

We thank the Broughton Sunday School Class from Trinity Baptist for the wonderful lunch  served to everyone present.

Work was also done reinforcing and bracing the rafters.

Busy hands swept out water and mud collected from recent rains.

The next work to be done is scheduled for this week.  The driveway and sidewalk will be poured and the plumbing and electrical wiring will be started.

Thanks to everyone for their willing hands and kind hearts.

Cold Saturday: work in progress

Our thanks to Trinity Baptist for their hard work on Saturday, Feb 28.  The cold but sunny day was filled with sawing, hammering, putting insulated siding in place.  Some of the interior walls are in place with walls being painted.  God's willing hands full of construction tools.
